I think I get it.The father was a Matt whirls and the mom was a Ray Alexander yes their bloodline. Crossing 2 different families of the same breed creates vigor (refreshes). She's still pure bred just by 2 different families. Eventhough I called it crossing. Breeding 2 families of the same breed some consider crossing (which I do ) and some don't it really depends how deep you're into it.
Like this lil fella here. He is the product of years of breeding to produce him. I had his father and it was thought he was the last of his blood that we knew of so I wanted to get a few stags off him. So I bred him (dad) to a kelso hen the offspring I bred a pullet back to her dad (line bred) to produce another pullet (a couple actually) culled the rest bred her back to her grandfather again and now have him. The reason for breeding back straight to their father and grandfather is outbreeding or outcrossing the mother's blood so the stag here pictured is about 7/8 cardinal club kelso and 1/8 unknown family kelso. The plan is to get a cardinal club kelso hen to breed to him to tighten the cardinal club blood View attachment 1520168
correctI think I get it.
Would it kinda be like breeding (Making up stuff here) a Cackle Hatchery Australorp with an Ideal Poultry Australorp...meaning they are both Australorps but from different "lines"?
I didn't say take it, meaning take it in ones mouth, as in pill. You guys are hilarious
Fancy dinner date.. dessert... Kiki I'm dying
Don't know how you don't know in this age of information and/or how no one in your school has told you but then again I didn't know some stuff until middle school but let's just put it this way....
The song Cake By The Ocean is not about cake....
Also... might get in trouble with this one but... why would one need or take birth control? (Besides if you need it for hormone regulation or whatever)
Thanks.correct
We've raised several dogs, all from puppies, they don't need a stay at home parent. That is not uncommon if it is a puppy.
That was the most ridiculous one. It turned me off of rescues. Instead I found someone that was giving 4 week old puppies away at a garage sale (if they weren't taken they were headed to the pound) and that's how we ended up with our lab/basset/st. bernard mix. She was the runt who grew up to the biggest of the litter! What???You have to be kidding! Almost makes you not want to donate. Are they just taking donations so they can afford to keep all the dogs themselves lol. Nit picking everyone so they can deny them?

They are actually very close to me. I applied for an entry level lab tech position because I thought it would be interesting. LOL. Hope they get back to you on the sample required for mareks test.http://www.vetdna.com/test-type/avian-bird
I have emailed these people to inquire about how they go about testing for Marek's and I have not gotten a response.
LINK!Back to the topic of threads that drive you nuts... there is a thread active now that the OP started about letting her broody raise a fledgeling bird. She doesn't want to leave the bird on the ground bc of her cat. Thinks locking the cat up until bird is safe is punishing the cat, while ignoring the fact putting a pest carrying wild bird under her broody is potentially damaging to the broody and the fledgling. This one is extra nutty to me personally.
