➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Dinner is yucky without butter.

Log out of the computer, lock up the jigsaws! Your turn to art. Tes paid her dues, now it's your turn.
Yeah, yeah. Bossing me around.
No art today. Maybe this weekend. Been a long week of being short staffed and crazy busy. I'm decompressing.

Like nudes? The newbs might snicker a bit. I remember my nude still life class that I took. Pretty interesting going from the male physique to the female. I still hate drawing people though. Not my cup of tea.
Ah, no, I wish. I’m not even sure if they offer a figure drawing class.

I meant that there can be a huge gap in skill level in these college art classes. It can be awkward.
I’m trying not to sound mean. I will never ever discourage someone who is just starting and looking to get better, but there is something to be said for the kids who sign up just to get their fine arts credit in and are total crap because they never put any effort in.

Thank you, I think!
May I ask what you mean—are you referring to the colour choices? Because that was just a today thing.
It was definitely a compliment! No, I mean your artwork as a whole. I've seen a lot of art, some good, some bad, but your stuff always makes me stop and look again. I can't quite put my finger on why.

Ditto. Kind of embarrassing to admit, but I suspect it's because I have a poor mental library of human faces and proportions. My section on horses and chickens is way bigger because that's what I stare at all day.
I only have one piece of art (human) that I like and I did it in high school. My brother loved it so I gave it to him.

Agreed. Then there is the fact that one needs "fine art credits"... hehe, but that's a whole can of worms that doesn't need opening.
