Me as well. I’m going to deep clean the coop later. I wanted to ride the horses but Guinness hasn’t been ridden in a long while and lord knows he’ll be in a bucky mood.

He’s a retired barrel horse with hock arthritis who we rescued from being slaughtered. Not exactly a ride all the time horse. All of our horses are rescues. Plus I am really not feeling well so not having all of my wits and strength wouldn’t be the best time either.

Lunge him first!

I do! He’s a spicy old man I’ve seen him gallop full speed across the pasture but as soon as I lunge him “oh no oh woah is me I’m soooooooooo lame I cannot walk without bobbing my head overdramatically”. He lived a really hard life before we got a hold of him. We even had a bull rider ride him and he later said he wouldn’t ever get back on him! He really isn’t bad for me most of the time, he’s just got grumpy mare syndrome.

I know I'm a weirdo for hating oreos (@jwyles can verify that I basically hate all the normal things that people love) but that really sicks me out. The only thing that would make it even more nasty is if you were dipping them in ketchup.

I thought everyone dipped their fried Oreos in ketchup!

He’s given me plenty of times where I chose the sorry option so I’ve learned to assess. I need to ride our almost 18hh Belgian before my dad gets up on him to make sure he’s still good.

Lol horses are such overdramatic goofs. I've seen horses supposedly "scared" of water but will gladly play and splash around in the water trough lol

That said, is the surface where you lunge him hard? Sometimes they might be perfectly fine on one surface and another might cause problems.
