We didn’t build a coop. House came with it, and the grow out is a prefab.

Great idea! Cost, benefit, why bother, etc...

It is not as simple as one thinks...meaning that it is different per state.
I have a lot of research from each state's head NPIP person I can forward to you if you do want to write one on this topic though Northside!

Your bator build?

Bator build:
1. Styrofoam box - stab holes in it, cut a hole for glass from picture frame use duct tape to put it on.

2. Heating pad - remember to reset it every 45 minutes as it turns off and doesn’t hold temp. Sit it on top of thermometer and toliet paper roll above eggs. EVEN AT NIGHT, SET ALARM FOR EVERY 45 MINUTES TO WAKE UP AND RESET IT

3. Calibrated thermometer and hygrometer next to eggs

4. Small Tupperware fill with water, shove paper towels and sponges in at lockdown

I need to find the pictures from last year ( I think it was) when the Budweiser Clydesdales were here at the local Budweiser plant.
They were ginormous!

Yes that's what I saw! Doubt they were the exact same horses but those are just huge anyway. We went to bush gardens several years ago and they had a couple there. I was blown away at the sheer size of them. They were so pretty though.
