➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

That would probably work but this is what I've bought.

Total cost from what I can tell is $108. Not bad.
@KikisGirls You should add this info to your necropsy price thread: You can only personally deliver the bird if you are the owner or a veterinarian.
I need proof. Do you have any paperwork? I don't think I have gotten to your state's website yet for proof.

sounds like he had a nice setup. My mentor way back when had cords and barrels but I have to keep mine in individual dome pens cause of hawks and such. He had them lining a pipeline with flypens and a brood house prolly 30 wide and 60 long. My very first game chicken I ever had he gave me to take care of he was a retired grey broodcock. After a year or so being a thorn in Mr Ronalds side lol learning and handling with him and caring for the grey cock he gave me a hatch hen and told me to breed them and the rest was history

What a great way to learn! Having a mentor right beside you to teach you as you go. I wish! My maw maw (I called her) told me all about her chickens and how she loved taking care of her "dominickers" but by the time I was around she was too sick to keep them anymore. BYC has been my mentor from the get go.

Kiki how are they as critters to have around? Have they gotten used to you or are they terribly skittish?
They have been used to me since before they hatched!
LOL

They are perfect quailies!
The one that was pecking me stopped already.
He better not start it up again.
I am not in the cage as much as I was when the were indoors but I still bother them a few times every day.
They don't freak out at all.
