Yes, Laura is more like Oak Alley, Laura also talks about how it was primarily run by the women. As were many plantations, but they don't tell you that part of French/Cajun history many places.that's on the list is it the one next to oak alley? And yeah houmas house's tour was pretty one sided. All they talked about was the owners. I even had to ask if it was a working plantation during the times. They used the term servants alot and showed the doors to the secret passages throughout the house bit didn't say that's how the "servants" moved throughout the house without being seen. I think the whole history of the plantation should be told but I guess that's just me. Oak alley did they talked alot about the slaves and still have the houses they lived in and how it was all set up
