➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

If a stranger waved at me where I live I would absolutely feel creeped out.
If I see someone wave or honk at me, I wave back. Most of them are strangers to me because far more people know who I am than I know them.

A year after I moved to my current location my brother bought the place next to me. Shortly after that I came home to a note on my door inviting me to a picnic by someone that I had no idea who it was. I asked my brother if he had gotten a similar invitation and he said no but then he pointed out that he didn't have a backhoe sitting in his backyard.

We don't wave alot but we to say good morning, hello, hi, good afternoon, take care, hold doors open for strangers etc. I live in the "country" and used to think people drove like lunatics in New Orleans but since I have been driving everyday in New Orleans for about 9yrs everyone where I live drives like grannies now lol. What I would have thought of being cut off yrs ago is not now. When people ride with me I can sometimes see their grip on the armrest and it does not matter how hard they press their foot on the floor they're not slowing us down any lol. Nah when your so used to driving with the flow it's nothing.

Is it that dangerous? I thought Houston and Austin were nice?

Yeah, I was taught to wave thank you or whatever too. And yes kids are annoying. The worst though are the kids in Jeeps (everyyyywheeeereeeee here) and the jerks in the massive trucks that always honk the millisecond the light turns green, etc.

Lol

Ya that one

Same

Oh I thought it wasn't? Did they recently add it? Maybe I'm thinking of the other one?

Nah, I thought it wasn't

Sorry :(

Yes

Oh wow that's scary! I think in that case though if the cop was close enough to hit her then she should not have gone even if someone was letting her and should've seen him?

But ya, letting someone go can be dangerous, like if the person behind you doesn't, so I don't always but I more mean like really busy roads and you sit there a while cause zero people let you go. There are a few of those here. Some of them they are even racing to sit at a light but can't let you go lol

But I get that it can be dangerous or some people are scared or whatever and also sometimes when you let one go then you gotta let everyone go (I've had people cut in front of me to take advantage of the fact I let someone else go lol even if I have already started moving and clearly don't want to let you go lol) but to have no one let you go gets old lol and I think most people here do it just cause they don't want to or are in a hurry. Everyone's always in a hurry these days.

Oh boy white trash is no fun lol

:lau

Me too lol

Oh wow lol my mom could talk to a bar stool lol

Me on the other hand, while I have gotten better about making conversation and willingly do it at stores, food places, etc., I hide in elevators lol not really hide but go to a far corner and avoid any interaction lol

Houston is great...if you are in the right neighborhood. Others you stay away from.

Guess who made a 104 on her first Neo exam today! :woot I seriously doubt I keep up that pace but I'll take it and celebrate it today! I love starting

This is hilarious!:lau
