I wonder if marker on a comb would last?

I doubt it would, that’s the most highly vascular area of the body and when cold it heats up drastically which would have some effect on the marker...right?

Yup. There is one little runt, and that one is particularly cute. In another couple of weeks or so, they will hit their funny looking stage as they grow faster than their feathers can keep up with.
