I think Canada gets more snow than we do here in California...
How much does a gallon of milk, a loaf of bread and a dozen eggs cost at your regular grocery store.
Just regular stuff...not organic or free range or gras fed or whatever. Just regular stuff.

When I moved from Ontario to Alberta I was floored by the prices here. Potatoes are about $1/lb. 3 tomatoes can cost around $5. Even when in season 1 cauliflower costs a minimum of $5! We don't have a sales tax here, but I think even paying the sales tax in other provinces is less expensive.

A gallon of milk is about $5. Bread ranges in price but an average is about $3.50. Eggs? I'm not sure because I haven't had to buy any in the past year... but I think large average about $3.50/doz.
Gas right now is around $5.30/gal.
