How much does a gallon of milk, a loaf of bread and a dozen eggs cost at your regular grocery store.I think Canada gets more snow than we do here in California...
They are!Wow! That is quite a bit for chicken! Canada prices are crazy.![]()
WOW!They are!
When I moved from Ontario to Alberta I was floored by the prices here. Potatoes are about $1/lb. 3 tomatoes can cost around $5. Even when in season 1 cauliflower costs a minimum of $5! We don't have a sales tax here, but I think even paying the sales tax in other provinces is less expensive.
And the whole country has the same population as the state. Is there actually any difference? Both are more liberal in viewpoints, both have high taxes, and high prices everywhere from houses to chicken

A gallon of milk is about $5. Bread ranges in price but an average is about $3.50. Eggs? I'm not sure because I haven't had to buy any in the past year... but I think large average about $3.50/doz.How much does a gallon of milk, a loaf of bread and a dozen eggs cost at your regular grocery store.
Just regular stuff...not organic or free range or gras fed or whatever. Just regular stuff.
