News...feels like 103 here today.

yep I think today makes day 4 of record highs like 98 or something here. With heat index of prolly 172

I think I would take the heat around here. We are getting the aftermath of Florence so it's just 300% humidity and episodic dumping of rain but there are some periods of severe thunderstorms. Luckily not so much lightning but I was rocked out of bed this morning. The rumble actually vibrated the walls enough to rattle a shelf and send two cats flying off the bed and running for their lives. It would have been amusing if I wasn't startled out of my sleep AN HOUR before the alarm.

Did Tess make it home safe and sound (and cool) yet?

I haven't heard from her yet.
I am not going to bother her tonight.
I would guess she should be home by now, sleeping in her own bed, hopefully.

Oh my I'm such a dork... mine are only 5 weeks and 3 days old.

It’s because they mature so fast, makes them look all grown up!

Here is SF Jr. no drake curl yet but they are all grown up too! The big ones are seven weeks, the smaller ones are four weeks.
