My hen is doing good! I took her to the vet and they looked at her and the egg lump. The egg lump had them totally mystified. Said they never seen anything quite like it. But they gave her a VERY thorough exam and found no signs of a problem. Since the incident, her egg production is up and the eggs are improving in quality. The last couple looked really good! So all signs point to it just being a glitch.
