They are all almost the exact same size, by looks.I'd keep the biggest one. Means he grew the mostest the soonest. Bigger is better!

Good luck! I just wouldn’t be able to do it. I’d be crying my eyes out. now one of our duck hens...she’s just daring me to take a chop at her. She has 110% decided that her voice must be heard at all hours of the day.I am trying to psych myself up into doing it today before I change my mind.
I am going to beg the Mex do it for me first though.
I will try to film everything.
I don't think I am going to be able to do it either, but I have to.Good luck! I just wouldn’t be able to do it. I’d be crying my eyes out. now one of our duck hens...she’s just daring me to take a chop at her. She has 110% decided that her voice must be heard at all hours of the day.
Don't judge the size by looks. Weigh each one and determine smallest to largest, I think you can use that blue painters tape to gently put some on their back with their weight written on it so you can tell them apart. Then once you have the weights, look at the chest. Who has the most red, who almost looks like a girl, who started getting the red chest soonest (if you remember), etc. Then choose using weight and chest.I am going to off some quailies today or tomorrow.
I am 100% sure that I have 4 males and I am getting nervous that they will starting getting ugly soon and I want to avoid that.
I am still unsure about my 3 whiter ones so I am going to wait on them.
I will keep one of the four pharaoh colored males but which one?
I am thinking the one with the most red in the chest?
It gets easier after the first one. Wait until the little buggers crow RIGHT in your ear, or scratch the heck out of your arm, then it's a lot easier.I don't think I am going to be able to do it either, but I have to.
I knew this before I even got the eggs.
What the heck was I thinking?
They aren't making any noise yet.It gets easier after the first one. Wait until the little buggers crow RIGHT in your ear, or scratch the heck out of your arm, then it's a lot easier.
I am only going to off 3 this weekend.Think of the BBQ quail wrapped in bacon with jalapeno & cheese melting in your mouth. The sweet, warm flavor rampaging gently across your taste buds. Mmmm.
