You think I can use these free pumpkins instead of the canned?View attachment 1587276
I've never bought or cooked these little things before.
They had a box full of them marked free at the grocery store. I so wanted to fill my basket all the way up with them but only took three, plus two of these acorn squash things.View attachment 1587275
Pumpkin Stuff from Mom aka Pumpkin harvest dump cake.
Melt
1 3/4 sticks of butter. Don't add it in. This is to pour on the top.
Mix
1 can pumpkin
1 can evaporated milk
4 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Pour into 9x13 pan
Dump on top of this, spread kinda evenly, 1 yellow cake mix - dry, straight from the box.
Drizzle melted butter over cake mix.
Bake 50-60 minutes at 360°
Delicious served warm with cool whip or ice cream. That's Blue Bell, Kiki.
Real easy dump cake and everyone likes it. Us kids would ask for it for Thanksgiving. Made several pans through Christmas until we were full of it. Good stuff, Maynard.
1/4 lb/ 8 tablespoon/ 1/2 cup/ 4 ounces/ 110gI have a question that you Americans will think is stupid.
How much is a stick of butter? We don't have sticks here. Just 1 lb blocks.
