With all the rain, ice and snow, here was my spring garden. Also shows Red in his wheelchair with Hubby teaching him how to use it. Red had been attacked by three coyotes when he ran to protect a cow that was calving in the pasture by the house.

Hope every one is ready for this winter storm!

A kid that went to our local summer camp died from this amoeba after jumping into a lake and getting water up his nose. I think about it every time I’m in a lake.

I’m ready for winter! But Texas just can’t make up its mind.

Our Lily is missing her buddy Red. She has parked herself on his favorite spot on the treadmill by the window.
It is hard to see her grieving.
Lily knew he was failing and stayed close to him and would whine when Red moved on his bed.
Red has been in declining health the past 6 months and this morning it was time to let Red join the other pets/babies that have graced our family with their love and devotion.
It is hard, but we must make that decision so a beloved pet no longer suffers.
A year ago today, we let Gracie go. Now Red has joined her. Bet they are running and romping together at the Rainbow Bridge.

Of course, Ruby just decided to hang out on the dog loveseat.

That's so sad! Recently read a similar article right after that one (think it was linked here?) About a couple cases of kids that died from it. One was only like 8. Jumped off the dock, got a blast of water up his nose.

Not according to the poem or whatever. I just hat3 th3 term rainbow bridge. My dogs are up in heaven having a great time not sitting around waiting for me to die.
