Since the BYC change I feel like not all my photo gallery was transferred. He was pretty. We tried saving his comb but the weather here is not the greatest on those combs. He was winter dubbed after his first winter here. Maybe a consideration for those with cold climates. But that bird was a love. Thank you all. His name was Roger. Nicknamed him the Big Tootsie because his feet were bigger than the hens as noted by the kids. Ha!

Wow he was huge!! gorgeous too. I am thinking of adding one but idk. My list was about 10 and now, after hours of deliberation, is down to 5, but I am thinking of maybe adding the NHR back in or replacing one of the other breeds with it. Idk.

Do this, and add the NH back. As stupid and crazy as our hen is, she lays pretty consistently and doesn’t eat a ton. She’s super loud and obnoxious though

Yeah I did get rid of the Wyandottes cause of comments on my other thread about how much they all hated theirs, poor layers, eat a ton, loud, mean, etc. lol Second picture with only 5 is my current list lol this one. Thinking I may take Delaware out though but my dad said he likes their looks and I have heard good things but supposedly hatchery Delawares are hit or miss so idk. Idk if I should add NHs back or not. They are gorgeous but I have sooo many red birds already lol and I don’t like the super loud and obnoxious part lol that’s how my Australorps are and they can be annoying and my one EE has an obnoxiously loud and long egg song thankfully, she hasn’t laid in a while
