Not yet but I will be getting one ready well before they get here. Thinking of brooding them inside the coop maybe if I section off the front end or maybe just elsewhere outside. Definitely not brooding them inside again LOL and I saw this cool idea for a portal for integration I may use.

Yeah, when I was younger a goose chased me up on top a picnic table, it took a while to get over my fear. I was taller and had to realize I could do more harm to him than he could do to me.

ETA: Any goose that bites inner thighs is a perv anyway, hope he tasted good.

Yuppp!! Not till the end of April!! It was the soonest hatch date available. The other breeds were available a lot sooner but the Speckled Sussex was almost sold out and not available until April 29th. And even that date only had a little over 80 birds left. But we didn’t want them until April anyway. I was hoping to be able to get them a little bit sooner in April but I really want the Speckled Sussex and do not want to take it off the list so it is what it is. Just gives me more time to be prepared if anything.
