➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

At least she got a cool lichen out of it.

A what?

A van is a van. Enough about me.
Looks like snowshoeing was a blast! Your dags look tired.

It could’ve been very unsafe!!

And it was!! Although after I lost my snowshoe it wasn’t very fun :lau one leg was sinking to knee deep every step :lau Might try it again today.

And they definitely are!! Especially FSIL took them back out on another walk to get the snowshoe a couple hours later lol so they went out in that twice.

Although they are DB and FSIL’s dogs :p

A three tiered lichen! Very cool, I used it as a tiny shelf for years.

That’s cool!!

I think my little Black Copper Maran chick has a prolapsed vent. It is definitely protruding. What should I do? Do I need to contact Meyer Hatchery or can I just treat it ourselves? She seems to be pooping but she did have some on and around her little bum. We cleaned her off. Could it just be a pasty butt thing from the stress of delivery and will correct itself over time? She eats and drinks and is otherwise active.

Also.... my daughter and her boyfriend are going out of town for the day so I am babysitting my grand dog for the first time. His name is Percy and they think he is part husky and part lab. The "husky" side has a clear/blue eye with an ear that stays standing up and the "lab" side has an ear that flops down and a brown eye. As well as a smooth black coat. Is going to be an interesting day.

Poor baby.
Do not tug on it or pull it what ever you do.

Preparation H ointment...go get some.

Make SURE your brooder is not too warm too.

The hatchery can not do anything about this.
