➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Awww, it's going to be a couple stressful months, but it's going to turn out great. I just know it! You'll find something better and it will be yours.
Considering every house we’ve inquired about just went under contract even though we scheduled viewings..I’m hoping so.

Have you looked on www.har.com yet?
I have not, I’ve never heard of Houston Association of Realtors. I’ll look and see.

It's not just Houston...it for all of TEXAS.
Type in your preferred zip codes and look.
You will find something there.

:hugsAww, poor lil Dinky.
Tell me about summer garlic!
It is actually a gar-leek. Begins like a leek, but harvests in clusters like garlic only huge.
Plant in early spring, 4 to 6 inch blooms in summer, dig in the fall.
Mild garlic flavor.

Is anyone here setting tomorrow for the Easter hatch? I have exactly one egg to set. Lazy bantams.
Yes, I'm setting Columbian Wyandotte. I set 42 duck eggs yesterday....they will be late 4/25.

Well. It was only a matter of time that something came along to derail the happy train. :hit We have until May 31st to find a new home. I can’t go into details on here. :(
Thank you. It won’t be a rental that’s for sure.
:hugsHunting for property is hard and frustrating. Keep after it, the end result is so worth the effort.
Hope you get results soon. :fl

Now I'm fascinated. Is there a variety you would suggest trying for a newbie?

Question on the Chanteclers. Getting as many inputs as I can, soooo you and Banty. When do your pullets start laying, on average?
It depends greatly on what time of year they hatched and the amount of daylight they get... but from everything I've heard it could be any time after 18 weeks. None of my hatches from last summer laid anything until a few weeks ago. Mind you, I'm a lot further north, so there's a lot less daylight in the winter.
