I don't think it looks like a bantam nor frizzled. Frizzled is frizzled for every feather, even the wings. I suspect there is some other explanation but I don't have any idea what that would be.That is what I am wondering. I already have the page up and have been scouring the website, going between this breed and that breed. She definitely has feathers on her legs. This is her when we first got her.

This is her now at almost 6 weeks old.

She is sweet and fluffy and I think I probably just need to let her grow out a little more to know for sure.
The difference between a BCM (hen size is 7lbs!) and a Frizzled Cochin (hen size 28oz!) is massive.
Maybe I should email and ask but by what age do ya'll think I would know for sure?

No, even the first wing feathers stick out like the chick put its beak in a power outlet. Anything frizzled is a dumb chicken...
Hmm, that’s true. The wings don’t look frizzled. But maybe it is just poorly bred or they haven’t curled yet? ...

Even more hilarious, can you guess what her nickname was as a chick when she was being all skittish and crazy? Hint, she had a unique-looking comb...What color are her eggs?![]()
