➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I checked the tracking info (I couldn’t resist LOL) and it says guaranteed delivery/arrival or whatever by 3pm tomorrow though of course it won’t be delivered so I will probably be able to pick it up much sooner than that. YAHOO!!!! Apparently they did 1 day priority express mail? WOOHOO!!! :celebrate:woot

Although of course now that I know this I probably will not be able to sleep. :lau

It might be because of your location.

We're fairly close to the Nashville airport and Houston has lots of direct flights so we get packages from some places VERY quickly. But, if it goes through Memphis, forget it. It takes about 3.5 hours to drive there but a package inevitably takes two days to reach us after it gets to Memphis. I don't know what goes on in that post office but it feels like they slow things down on purpose.

Yeahhhh.... I realized after I got home that it might be a bit high  but I think I will put the pad on the inside and have it run down the sides so their backs can touch the sides. And/or I might bury like the bottom half in shavings, up to the first cross bar, or cut half off on one since it’s a two pack. Idk yet. I’m going to try to make it lower or at least lower the pad
Instead of cutting off the bottom section, can you cut the back corners and flatten out the sides and back some to a lower height?

Shoot.

I was a little confused in which hatched it from your last post.
You had a typo.
Yes I am on my phone and hard for me to type
Also stumpy. Freaked me out. I feel bad for the poult and that I sent out possibly too inbred eggs. Glad I gave them away.. he hadn't gotten a live one out of dz eggs.
Faraday40 has 6 and so far 1 has hatched and other than a bloody navel it's fine.
I have 12 under 2 broody hatching Friday

Squash is up in the garden! Relieved because I was a little worried when I saw the packet was 9 years old. There was just enough seed left for this year. I planted "lemon" summer squash because it survives the squash bug infestation that happens every single year no matter how closely I monitor. I hate those bugs!

I have volunteer lettuce up along with blooming Johnny Jump Ups but you can't see any this morning since their is a layer of at least 1" of white stuff where the garden was.
