➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

There is nothing wrong with a Nikon or a Canon. Olympus no longer makes a DSLR with an optical view finder. They abandoned this line of cameras in favor of a micro line up that has an electronic viewfinder. The E-5 was their flagship model at the time so their supposed equivalent flagship model at this time appears to be the OM-D E-M1X. These are interchangeable lens cameras which can cause a person to spend a small fortune between the lenses and the camera body.

For a really nice point and shoot camera that will do both macro and telephoto, you can get the Panasonic Lumix DC-FZ80 (the latest version of the camera @BantyChooks uses) for under $300. It has an optical zoom range of 60X.
This is exactly what I wanted to know. Thank you!

We eat out way too much around here. I get spurts of where I don't like to cook (and I am the only one that cooks). And I am not an adventurous cook when it comes to flavors. Sometimes nothing sounds good to me. I am so finicky. I think that is why I keep trying to garden. Am hoping that having an appreciation of something that you grew yourself, maybe we will try to use those ingredients more often. Some of my strawberries are starting to turn red. That makes me excited.

Who knew a silly strawberry plants could make someone so happy? LOL!
Just imagine the homemade strawberry shortcake you could make! Proper biscuits, of course, and whipped cream. Yum.

Yes I know!!

But at least I only got a single patty this time and small fries and only a water. No shake or double or huge fries.

Also, in my defense, I was fully prepared to turn around and somewhat posted hoping to be talked out of going (just kidding lol sort of) and Kiki actually TOLD me to go IN!!! LOL

Good to know I don't have any experience with either breed I've been on the lookout for a female chocolate lab for a while but by the time I find them they're sold. Ima have to breakdown and put a preborn deposit on one
I like a good lab, for sure. A nice, solid dog. I'm partial to the chocolates myself, especially those short, stout ones with the block heads.

Oh, plus the barking! Why do they all bark manically? I can't stand a dog that barks all the time for no reason. Drives me up the wall. I'm quite pleased that both of my dogs are largely silent.
I don't understand how people ALLOW their dogs to bark incessantly! Mine go apeshit when there's a knock at the door, but they're just doing their jobs- they're letting me know that there's a potential intruder. Once I acknowledge them and let them know i'm aware of it- they stop. If they don't- outside or in the laundry room they go! My neighbors let their dogs bark and bark and bark... while they are home! Drives me nuts. This is why we're buying acreage. Reasons such as this.
