The production has kind of stalled

Got home like 1:30 or 2 and really haven’t done anything since or gone outside

But that’s not entirely because of the phone, I also took a bathroom and snack break. Although the breaks could have been shorter without the phone but still. Anyway, as of like 15, 20 mins ago I did finally go outside if only to drive the shavings and grit to the back and then proceed to drive laps around the yard.

But now I am going out for real to clean the littles brooder and I may let the littles out while I do so, although not sure yet cause they need a closer eye kept on them. Will probably let the bigs out though. Will figure out what to do with littles as I need to clean their brooder. Maybe I can close the pop door and put them on the bigs side or in the nest boxes lol although I’ll probably never be able to wrangle them up again lol

Oh! I should note though that after I dropped the someone off, I did go to TSC and got grit since we’re out and a different coop refresher thing to try but decided not to get their shavings as I don’t really like them.

That was the original thing I was going there for, that and grit, but I really hate their shavings.

So I went to our other local store instead.

Originally I wanted to go home after TSC as I was feeling slightly sick and plus I accidentally got on the wrong ramp going the wrong direction since I was in the wrong lane (had moved over cause they were going too slow for my liking but then there were too many cars and I couldn’t get back over. LOL my own fault) but then the feeling passed and I just got off at the next exit and got back on the highway going the correct way LOL made a little more work for myself, went one exit further north than I had to, the other store is south, but those 2 exits are really close to each other so it wasn’t much further out of the way, so after that little inconvenience I got to the right store and got 2 bales of shavings since they’re so cheap, figured I should just get 2 while I’m there. Also finally met the cat!! The last couple times I’ve gone he wasn’t there. Or at least wasn’t out. This time he was! Wasn’t very friendly or interested in me though he walked up to me and let me pet him briefly though but then he kept walking LOL I think he’s just shy. VERY friendly with the staff. Had no problem jumping on the counter lol ALSO!! They had new fluffies in!!! They looked like just turkeys and meat chickens though BUT they also just this week got in assorted feather foots I’m so tempted to buy some LOL their minimum is only 3 per ship/hatch date! TSC is 6. They were sooooo cute. The turkeys were too. Although one had a closed eye.

Anyway, got the shavings and came home and that’s when I took the super long break and really did nothing and now also I am taking a ridiculous break typing this, been like 15 minutes, but I am finally going outside.

I have someone coming over at 7 to drop something off and possibly see the chicks so I have to get working before then lol

It is mostly sunny and warm out today but it is partly cloudy, the sun keeps disappearing behind the clouds and reappearing.

Also in my defense of all the breaks, our data is running low so I can’t use it until Sunday so I didn’t touch my phone the whole time I was out. in case you were wondering why me, of all people, was off my phone and BYC for almost 2 hours lol

Anyway, gotta run.

Totally doing that the next time you go on an extended hiatus. Good luck with the college stuff; sounds like you've done all you can.
