Feeling a lot better this morning as in.... completely fine so I really believe it was just food poisoning now. Still pretty dehydrated though so I’m still working on catching up there. Feel fine though. And nowhere dehydrated as I was, just not quite the perfect color urine yet and slightly dry lips/mouth so gotta work on that ha been drinking a lot of water already this morning so I’ll get there. Anyway, thanks for all the help yesterday! And sorry for freaking out.

Glad you're feeling better! Food poisoning is no joke, I never went back to the restaurant that made me sick. Particularly since they did NOTHING. Wouldn't even respond to a written complaint. I'd name and shame them but they went out of business so it's pointless now. And I do wonder just how bad the kitchen was...

Thanks! And yeah, it definitely isn’t. It was awful ha but at least I got a good cleanse and wow that is awful!! What jerks. Sounds like it’s better they went out of business ha these people were really nice and the owner talked to us a lot so we felt bad so my mom called them the next day just to inform them so they wouldn’t get in trouble or anything if it happened to anyone else and they were nice about it and she was too and they both were chatting/talking for kind of a while ha we understand it can happen sometimes so we weren’t upset or anything. They were really busy that day so I’m sure something probably just got left out or something. Probably just a mistake as they were really nice. And we told them we didn’t want to complain, just wanted them to be aware of it. Which is true. They were a pretty small little local place and really nice so we felt bad. But yeah.

Made a new recipe for lunch today... Creole Squash casserole...used a baseball bat sized zucchini squash.
Boys each had two helpings! Will definitely make this again.

Bought a few extra pepper plants to set out this evening. We got the gopher that was pulling the plants down its tunnel...finally!

Really hot here today headed in to the next two weeks. Going to work in the garden and pens beginning at 6 am in the mornings, spend hot part of the day inside and then back out after 6 pm until dark...the hot summer schedule. Meal preps for dinner and the next day while I'm inside and we eat light the rest of our meals. Good thing is I'll lose a few pounds.

I weighed Ziggy today. He's 3 pounds 6 oz. His paperwork says he was 3# when they neutered him on 6/27. So, he's packing it on which is good news because he had tapeworms when he came in.

They have his birth date recorded as 4/19 making him 11 weeks old now and at the top of the normal weight range for a kitten his age. So, I'm not wrong about the huge legs, long tail, and big ears needing to be grown into, he isn't going to be dainty

I also found out through the microchip transfer process that he and many of the other kittens I met that day were transported in from a shelter in Louisiana. I joked to hubby that this explains why he's a little crazy, the kitty's a Cajun!

Worked out in the garden today for like idk a few hours total. Accidentally took like a 40 minute break in between just came in at like 5:15, 5:30 haha at least I think so. Idk. But got some peppers in pots finally and some cucumbers finally and another squash. Bought them a couple weeks ago and planted some of them but not the others. the squash I planted a couple weeks ago has taken off lol but surprisingly the other one was still doing pretty well too but yeah. Probably a little late but oh well. Meant to plant it before we left last week or even when I first got it but then I never got around to it. but they grow surprisingly fast so I think it will be okay. The beans are taking off. And the hot peppers have tons on them. The sweet one not quite but it’s getting there. The other sweets are all still tiny cause I planted them so late, the hots and this other sweet (only one of that type) I bought as big plants. The eggplant I bought is massive but no flowers yet. The other ones are doing well but still tiny since, again, planted those late. the garden got a late start this year ha most I planted like mid to late June. but everything’s doing well so far.

Anyway, first time, I got carried away weeding and everything and got kinda sweaty cause I had my hair down and a little dehydrated/dry lips so I drank some water and that’s when I accidentally took the 40 mins break this was around 3ish. Was fine with some water and putting my hair up. Went back out and did more planting and weeding and stuff but the second time after coming in I felt and still feel pretty weak or almost lightheaded. I think it’s maybe cause I did a lot of bending and standing fast? Cause I planted in a few locations and some weren’t as good as the others so I was taking the good dirt from the good garden/old chicken run and mixing it in the holes in the not so good areas so it was a lot of going back and forth haha and I did get lightheaded a couple times out there so I think maybe that’s it? Or maybe because I haven’t eaten since like noon or 1??? Idk. Weird. But dinner is ready now so I’m going to eat it and I’m sure I’ll feel better haha

I am a few pages behind but I'll catch up eventually. I'm glad you're feeling better @KDOGG331 Food poisoning sucks. I have been laid up with a torn meniscus in my knee. It's not the first time that it has happened but this last one was the worst that I've ever done so. I could barely put any weight on it at all. I guess an appt to an orthopedic dr is probably in my foreseeable future. I'll put it off as long as I can. After a couple to few days of staying off of it and letting it heal I am back to going and doing. This summer is kicking my booty this yr. You're not outside for 5 minutes before you are dripping with sweat. And sadly, I mean literally and not figuratively. Everything takes longer and you've got to take multiple breaks. It's awful! On a good note, the babies are growing like crazy! They are 2 weeks old tomorrow. It is so cute to watch them play in the water and try to flap their wings to splash the water all over them or dip their heads in like momma. I think I have at least 2 girls. I know at least 1 of them is a boy. You can just tell. Even as a baby he is bigger and has a bigger bill. The other 2 I go back and forth on. I can't wait until they get old enough to voice sex them. Bowie has an issue with one of his feet. He's lost a toenail somehow (I'm assuming probably sparring with Elvis) and he had a broken/bleeding blood feather maybe? Not sure exactly what you'd call it. After reading and researching on here we just pulled it out. It was barely hanging in there and we got the blood to stop and clot and he was good to go. Elvis has gotten to one of the young girls. My babies are growing up! It was Daisy. She thinks he is handsome. The hussy! We had a decent 4th. My dogs did not. Between the thunderstorms and the 4th of July booms, they've been miserable. They're either under my desk or in my lap. The poor babies!

And oh wow that sounds bad! Hope it gets better and hope you can get that taken care of and looked at soon. Want to make sure it heals properly and not permanently messed up.
