How's the house?

5 feet in the air, should be fine with the new levee system in the area. We have 1 large window that is original to the house and it is boarded up, the rest are new ( since Katrina) and are supposed to be hurricane proof. That has proved true so far with other storms we have weathered.

Barry just moved south Just hope it doesn't sit there and get stronger.
We aren't going anywhere anyhow, canoe is on the back porch just in case. and we still have the hatchet that lives in the attic, just case we end up in the attic. DS is out on a tugboat working, I made him send me a picture with his safety gear on.

That’s not that big, I’ve seen some 15 and 20 pound cats haha Luna is around 9 and I’ve always thought she was a TINY cat LOL so your cat may very well end up being way way bigger!! He might be a moose LOL

A bobcat is about 20#, he'll be huge if he's half that.

Hmm that’s true but I’ve also known some that weren’t fat or anything, they were just huge and big boned/muscled and stuff haha some cats are just huge lol although I guess even 10 or 11 is big ha but idk, maybe it’s just around here, but I’ve seen plenty of moose cats that aren’t fat just mooses lol definitely a ton that are fat too but all the ones I’ve seen were indoor/outdoor and/or barn cats so plenty of exercise haha maybe there’s something in the water here. but then again I’ve never actually weighed any of these cats so I guess it’s possible they just look way bigger than they are lol or they’re maybe mixed with a larger breed like Maine Coon or something
