One time I noticed that my cat (RIP Tinkermittens) was unusually interested in the community toad hole. I took a peek and found a furry refugee. Kind of neat.

Ivfinlly ordered the free box gifted to me.
Because it was completely free I didn't get to choose the three meals.
Well I could have chosen other meals but it would have cost and I was trying to stick to free.

I think it’s only supposed to get to 85 today so not too bad BUT it was already 81 before 11am. And I had both my windows open and a window fan on last night cause it was kind of cool so I was roasting this morning LOL I actually didn’t feel that bad but when my mom came in she said it was too hot to have everything open and then I kind of realized it and shut everything. And of course I had a comforter on too. Not a super heavy one but still. Idk. I always sleep with a blanket on. 
So anyway, now I’m feeling it. Feel terrible. It feels like I all of a sudden have a bad cold or something but I think it is just the heat. Not sure though. But I have the scratchy throat, tight/painful chest, stuffy nose, headache, dry eyes, etc. which sucks
but I took some of that Emergen-C Immune Boost drink powder stuff so hopefully that will help. I think I will be fine. I sometimes feel terrible in the morning (though never usually this bad) and then feel perfectly fine later. Think it’s just something with the heat/dehydration and maybe allergies. So I guess no fan in the window tonight. Although it is supposed to thunder later and cool off some. So it might be okay later.
Anyway, I am hoping it’s just from sleeping in that hot room all morning and that I’ll be fine later.
But it’s also possible I do have an actual cold or something because I went to a big outdoor concert/festival Sunday and we stayed at a hotel and then Monday and yesterday I was dog sitting (and had to get up at 6:30am Monday to drive back to get them despite not sleeping a wink Sunday night) and yesterday I also did a ton of weeding in the garden and was out there over an hour or two (also sore from that haha) and haven’t been sleeping much lately at all so it’s possible I just wore myself out/lowered my immune system? Maybe got exposed to something at the festival and then because I was already tired and run down it took hold? About the right incubation time I think... 3 days?
Anyway, I know this sounds like yet another “me complaining” post but I didn’t mean for it to. And I honestly don’t feel that bad or enough for it to stop me from working. I guess my point was just that it is hot here too and enough to make me feel sick. But I have to work today so I do have to go out. But thankfully it’s only one dog and I don’t have to walk her so that is a bonus. Just a drop in visit and I love playing with her and hanging out so it’ll be fun. I might just let her pee then play/train in the basement some. Too hot to be out much.
Thankfully we got the AC running last week so not too bad in the house anymore. But I still might go to the movies or something. It’s boring here and I don’t want to just sit around. Supposed to storm later. Wonder if they even play movies in the storm. Probably.
Good day to stay inside thing and I wish I could but can’t. But oh well. I’ll make up for it haha

That looks great!
Wanted to do more weeding today but I doubt I will be able to. Think it might be too hot and then the storms are supposed to roll in. But we’ll see. Looks like there’s is a strong breeze so it might not be so bad. Would like to get it done because it is supposed to rain for two days so if I don’t, the weeds will take off! Did get a good chunk of it done yesterday though except for the biggest patches which is the part I need to get done the most.
