I haven't gotten eggs in ages. I've got some broodies and all of the girls are slipping their eggs under them. The chanteclers are already starting to molt. Sigh.View attachment 1878235 My sad little collection today! From 8 hens no less. Every one of these eggs is from my older birds. I've got two 1 year olds and neither has laid in days. A barred rock and a OE. The dang slackers! One again, those cackle hatchery EE are blowing everyone else out the water.
No.
Or Wyandotte...
I hard boil my older eggs and then crush them shells and all to feed back to my chickens. I have also scrambled them without the shell to feed back to the birds.
Store bought cucumbers are made of tears and ground up orphan boys. They're terrible.

Can I take these two for you?Conference over. I’m exhausted.
I ended up with 13 hours for next semester. I was really scraping the bottom of the barrel for class options and missed out on some important stuff (microbiology... sigh), but all things considered it could be worse.
Biochemistry, Biomedical parasitology, Animal nutrition and feeding, and “Pathobiology diseases in the world.” Sounds fun, right?
Also signed up for a biomedical student association, so hopefully that will open networking opportunities and help me get some volunteer hours under my belt.
I badly need to get my foot in the door at a vet clinic.
This semester is going to be crazy. I’m pooped, but really excited. I have to keep reminding myself to breathe.
