➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

No just a jacket and gloves. The flogging on the back is sort of massage like but in the face is not so pleasant.
Get one of these too and you will pretty much have a new trick or treat outfit for next month.

Poison ivy never bothered me. I can brush up against it and stuff and be fine. Thank goodness because we gots lots

My friend is like that. She could roll in a patch of the stuff and not get it. Meanwhile, her dad is severely allergic and gets it really bad.

Packing now.

:lau x2

I never had a reaction until mid 20's. We get it along our back fence line on occasion and so I keep that ivarest on hand. I find that if I wash with ivarest foam when I first notice the beginning of a rash that I can knock it right on out.

I used to but now I’m obsessive about washing my hands and showering immediately after being outside so I get it less now.

Jackson Hole has been taken over by the Hollywood people. It is a very expensive place to live.

Unfortunately, the only way to keep it at fewer people is to discourage newcomers. I liked it when I first arrived. There were only 300,000 in the whole state, now we are already up to 600,000.

:lau we have that much in Boston alone! Actually, it’s almost 700,000 now.

That's like how many people live in my neighborhood.
:th

You have 600 THOUSAND people in your NEIGHBORHOOD!?!?!? :th

Is this your subtle way of telling me to stay away? I mean if you don't want me to come just say it! Man you Wyomingites aren't welcoming at all.

:lau lmaooo

stay here in Louisiana its not hot all the time there's those 2 weeks in February

I think I could adapt to the heat as long as I didn’t have to go through Kiki’s boot camp while down there. :lau

:DThere's that southern hospitality I love! Here's to February!:woot

:lau

Nothing against you personally, there just happens to be too many people here already. When greeting a newcomer, it used to be a common question to ask if the newcomer had remembered to lock the border behind them when they crossed it.

OMG :lau

Oh that's funny! I was only kidding anyway. I could never convince the Hubs to run that far away with me and we're a package deal.

:lau darn! LOL

My garden was destroyed by hail the other day but it is still producing. I stopped by and the unauthorized incubator in the garden was talking quietly. I looked closer and could see an empty egg shell. Then I saw a poult in front of her. As she lifted up a little, I could see another poult just under her feathers. Then I was able to see a whole lot of little legs going every which way.

Mama got off the nest to reveal 8 new poults and one half shelled egg that was nearly done zipping.

I collected the 8 to move them to the brooder.

Unauthorized incubator #3.

The egg that was partially zipped had a moving beak sticking out. It was partially shrink wrapped but alive. I popped the top of the egg off and removed the shrink wrap. I then put it under unauthorized incubator number one.

Awwwwww

Is She going to be pissed that you took her babies?

Probably.

More like forlorn and heartbroken. She still has 3 unhatched eggs so she is already back on the nest. I have been bitten, scratched and flogged at times when stealing the babies.

OMG

I'm in love with these pics!

Same here, I barely know what it looks like because I’ve never had a reaction.
Hubby and his dad are very allergic. My poor FIL bloated up like a balloon and couldn’t see because his eyes were so swollen.

Oh my gosh, those ears are too cute. They’re killing me!
If you’re trying to make me stay away from Wyoming, you’re doing a real terrible job with these photos.
