➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

You'll start a new clothing revolution.
I’ll smell like dog all the time, but hey, what’s new?
Fatso was a professional sneaky nibbler.
She would steal the squeakers so quietly I wouldn't even know she was doing it right next to me.
Mr. T is at the vet right now getting his dental cleaning. I won’t see him until tomorrow morning. :hit
I’m holding it together but my mind is playing nasty games. :( Been reading too many damn horror stories about old Goldens.

You’re right. The old man started it. He’s a surgeon.. carefully nibbles the animal open until he finds and rips out the heart (aka squeaker).
Then Theia comes in to finish the job by shaking all the guts out.

That’s genius.
Too bad I don’t know who the manufacturer is because they ate the tag.

I need to learn how to weave my own shoes out of dog hair and toy fluff.
I could be saving a fortune.

Dang that’s expert level skill right there :lau

I think one of the dogs I watch has the same toy. I see her again tomorrow, maybe I can find out :lau

:lau yesss!

Believe it or not people do actually make stuff out of dog fur lol

One time at a fair they had a board with different fur/fleece/wool and stuff from different species and of course they had like sheep, alpaca, etc. but they also had dog and not just one dog but many different breeds! LOL

People spin it into yarn.

It has to be a certain length though I think so it’s usually the long coated dogs but still.

A bit wacky for me but a neat idea lol

OMG.

Santa can help mass distribute the clothes too.
You'll be rich Tess!

Hubby said that when he dropped him off, he refused to go into the back with them. Hubby had to leave the clinic and peer through a window until the tech gave him a thumbs up to get him to move.
Triumph HATES the vet. HATES.
I feel horrible. For once I wish I had a morning class so I could focus on something else.

Aww no that sucks. Poor guy and poor you :hit :hugs

Do you have anything else you could do to distract yourself? Maybe some homework? Though that wouldn’t be very relaxing. Maybe you could read a book or something? Work on some plans for IV’s cage? Take Theia for a walk? Draw? :hugs

Ziggy's getting his big guy canine teeth in but they're all coming in next to his baby teeth. Not excited about the prospect of having to get those extracted. Anyone have a positive outcome story they want to share? Preferably one where the baby teeth ejected themselves.

The weird coincidence is that my almost 14YOs are in the process of getting the last of their baby teeth extracted, too. Their teeth are just too dang tight so the permanent molars are trying to head off course rather than pushing through. This normally happens at age 10-12 but, you know, we like to keep the tooth fairy waiting around here.
