Glad it’s not just me that hated that movie!! Haha and I didn’t even watch the whole thing! Tried to be cool and watch it from the stairs but then ran upstairs crying :lau pretty sure the hair part is towards the beginning too lol but so it really is scary?? It’s not just me?

I don't think it really terrifies many horror movie buffs. I've been told by too many that it didn't scare them at all and was way down their lists for scary or even good horror movies. I think something about it just gets to some of us scaredy cats. I'm weird though. As a kid I was TERRIFIED of the movie gremlins, but Childs play didn't bother me a bit. Most the other kids I knew loved gremlins, but were terrified of child's play. So I don't know if I can actually gauge a proper scare lol

Well you just went on that trip, right? And you went on a hike before that and got feed before that and today you got a few things too right? That’s a lot compared to even just last week when you didn’t want to get out of bed. Baby steps! :D
I still don't think I have as much motivation to get stuff done as I once did.

The ring scared the ever loving crap out me! It's why I don't do scary movies anymore. I wasn't even that young when I watched it but it scarred me good. When I think about the movie it seems so stupid too. But it doesn't matter at all. I just can't. Something about the way the killer ghost chick moves just does me in. I'm a chicken anyway tho and always have been. I think it was just the icing on the cake for me.
The Ring scared the piss out of me. Still does.
One of the earliest scenes shows quick snapshots of people who died from the girl with their mouths stuck wide open. I dunno why but that was the scariest thing ever for me, I had nightmares for ages.
I don’t remember the rest of the movie.. except the suicidal horse.

I have a horrible memory. Like, abnormally bad. It’s a blessing and a curse.. I can rewatch most any movie I’ve ever seen and it’s like I’m seeing it for the first time.
But I also sound like a dumb blonde trying to remember past events, especially the chronological order of past events.

I saw it when I was a kid so it really left a mark on me.
Hubby was also terrified of Gremlins. :gig

Nowadays I’m still the biggest wimp in the world, but I really love getting scared. Horror books are especially neat to me. It’s so fun to get spooked by just words on a page.

Yeah, it’s just really creepy. I think that scares me more than any jump scare type thing haha

And I don’t think I’ve ever seen that child’s play one but gremlins was pretty creepy haha but I wasn’t really scared of it I don’t think. Idk. But I do know I later became scared of it when I read horror stories of the dolls coming to life or moving or not shutting up after being smashed, etc. I hate dolls and toys and anything like that and anything with eyes. One time I turned my moms whale plates around on the display rack thing cause of the eyes :lau

Also I think some of those types of movies are worse for me because I am somewhat religious and believe some of that shit exists/that you don’t mess with it haha

So to me it’s not just some fake shit lol

Unless it’s just a really bad/stupid movie.

I still don't think I have as much motivation to get stuff done as I once did.

It doesn’t just come back all at once. It takes time. And you are getting there and making progress whether you see it or not :hugs

I am so glad it is not just me that was scared of that movie. I thought maybe I was just being a baby or something haha and okay OMG that is horrifying and that would scare me too. That’s exactly the kind of creepy thing that would traumatize me lol

And aww I’m sure you don’t sound dumb! :hugs

I have a pretty bad memory lately, like last few years too, and everything seems to just blend together lately haha

Can barely even remember last week :lau  or at least like, even just last week seems like forever ago to me lol

Anyway, have you always had a bad memory? Or is it relatively new? Cause I’ve been reading for myself cause I was nervous and it says sometimes stress, depression, anxiety, all that stuff can cause memory problems. And technology overuse too which you don’t have but I definitely do haha so I thought it was interesting. Never would have thought any of that stuff could affect memory.

Yessss! I was a kid when I saw it too! Not super little but I tried to be cool and sneaky and watch it from the stairs. Actually, I think I was just nosey and wanted to know what they were watching. :lau Big mistake lol

See, I think books would creep me out worse haha idk. I get so spooked even reading non scary stuff like honan and jewels making up stories last night :lau

I’ve been learning to like rollercoasters though. But I don’t mess with any of that horror shit lol

I've got the bad memory thing too. So bad I wonder if something's wrong with me sometimes. I can't remember anything about the movie except the way the creepy way the chick crawled out of the tv and the feeling of terror the whole thing gave me. Also, (spoiler alert) Tes... the memory thing doesn't get better.

Ugh thanks for reminding me of that part! That was the creepiest part lol and when she turns around with her hair all down haha

And that sucks :(

I’ve been thinking of trying to play some memory/brain games and exercises and/or taking some supplements for memory and trying to improve it haha wonder if any of that will work lol
