Yea i would totally stop at 4 ft. Big enough to minimize water change but small enough to not take all day to scrub the algae. Altho with that kinda money if its in a private house i guess u just pay someone to maintain it.

Tbh I’m the same way actually!! I would never want to do all that work!! But I am always so impressed by the large fish tanks and like looking at all the fishies and other animals! But of course it’s someone else doing the work lol I’m sure doing it myself would get old! But think of it.... I could have sharks! A whole reef system... the whole shebang. Or if I wanted to keep it simple and go fresh instead of salt (cause salt is way more work and a 400+ gallon tank is enough work as it is), I could go with a river set up maybe or some bass or some goldfish or koi or cichlids or whatever... endless possibilities LOL

Yeah I think 4 feet is a good size!! That’s what like 75 gallons? 100? And yeah even the smaller ones are a lot of work to keep clean. But yeah, I imagine they would pay someone to do it! Or maybe you’d put it in an office??

This was only like a month ago, long after we got Theia.

My heart is drawn to most every animal. I have to let my brain make the decisions; I will never ever let an animal suffer because I lack the money or time for it.
Sometimes my heart pulls a little harder than my brain, and that’s what hubby is there for lol. Reality check!

Omgoodness that would be amazing They are so cool even if they are totally impractical pets. Although...they are much better suited to being pets than iguanas IMO.

DH is the fish fan in our house. He has a lovely 20 gal tank with lots of fresh water plants, fish, and shrimp. It is really cool just not something I personally am drawn to. I prefer pets I can more closely interact with.
