Nah, I just don’t like very sweet things. My sweet tea is pretty tame.

Who said there’s no beans?

Ahh that makes sense lol

And idk. That article said chili (no beans) haha

Most of the bottles of tea is made from powdered tea and has little antioxidants.
I put tea bags in a quart jar and wait a few hours.. cold brewing it's called... have a couple on the counter now

That makes sense!

And that sounds good!

The Arizona tea is available as a powder to mix into water yourself. That may be the very same thing they use to make the bottled stuff.

My husband started drinking Arizona Green with honey to wean himself off soda. He was super fond of chastising me for an occasional soda because he was convinced that his choice was better. Then he did some reading and realized it wasn't. "Vitamin water" was next. I laughed and said it's the same as drinking Kool Aid and taking a multivitamin. He's now moved to Gatorade. You know, because he needs those electrolytes after a hard day at a desk job. He's obviously a sugar addict and I worry he'll end up with diabetes.

Oh boy! Hope he finds something else suitable haha

If he like soda and/or flavored stuff, maybe he could some flavored seltzer water? They have more natural ones/ones that aren’t so bad.

Or even getting one of those machines and making your own and adding fruit to it haha

People every where don't eat Frito pies?

Must have lots of onions and a good squirt of mustard on it.

Nope! We don’t lol never heard of it till I saw that article :lau

Sounds... interesting. LOL

Tbh I’m surprised you eat it :lau

They used to have this on the school lunch rotation here in TN. I'd never heard of it until then. I have never actually tasted it. But by appearance? It's fair food or a late night drinking snack, not an entree. The school removed it from the lineup a few years back as part of an effort to improve the nutritional profile of their offerings. Many kids mourned the loss.

I bet they did!! LOL but probably best.

Junk food snack...for sure not a meal.

If you put enough chili on it it might be :lau

Yes but this is TN where people put sweet tea in baby bottles for toddlers.

OMG!!

You mean they don't put Coke in the bottles like they do here?
:th

I kid you not...I saw a lady filling a bottle (kid looked to be about 1.5) with a can of Coke. I wanted to say something but was afraid to get shot.

Oh no! Poor kid :(

But then again my cousin did that one time. I think her kid was like 2 but still. They were begging for the coke so they gave her some. All their kids have begged for it before lol though tbh I think it was her husband that gave it to them not her but still. I was looking at this happen in shock lol

Ive had frito pies for dinner quite a few times lol. Its popular here

Tbh I probably would too haha it seems really filling.

It's usually Mountain Dew if they're going with soda. IDK why.

Ewwww

Aw no

Dissolve the honey in the hot tea. Much faster.

Lipton is nasty and tastes like cardboard. Luzianne family size is much better, in my opinion. The loose leaf has so many taste intricacies that I don't like chugging it. When I have time, loose leaf is nice, but it goes stale so fast. Fresh is best.

Take 1/2 glass HOT tea. Top off with favorite berry juice. The berries sweeten the tea. Daughter likes the cranberry juice with tea. Play with ratios to get right level of sweetness.

Most coffee pots have a hot water dispenser now. Carry the TAZO tea bags and some chick-fil-a honey packets with your laptop. I also carry a ceramic mug since paper coffee cups taste like paper. But that's my diet. :D

BTW - I drink hot tea all year. I'll order ice tea only if it is still hot & without ice. Slightly sweetened is good. I'll mix unsweet with sweet until I get where I want. Some BBQ places serve sugar syrup for tea. Way too sweet.

And pickled Jalapenos since you can't get pequins.

These are all excellent ideas! I may have to try them myself! Thanks!

Although.... chik fil a honey!? :th

Didn’t realize that was a thing but I think I’d prefer to use real honey lol

Oh and yeah, definitely gotta dissolve it in hot tea! I’ve tried it with ice before and it doesn’t work haha

I'm guessing the candling showed no veins???

Clears.
Nothing.

What? Are the 2 horsies you released still around? They need to step up their game.

The chicks the broody hatched at the barn, should be full grown by now.

Someone took them both home.
It's just the two moms still there.
They did just hatch some chicks a few weeks ago but someone took the chicks home too.

Awww no. Although I guess it’s good they have a home? Idk. Unless they’re eating them lol

Mustard?? Nasty.

Plain yellow mustard is gross but I love honey mustard or sometimes brown is okay lol

No roosters = no chicks.

I think the sole remaining broody hatchling is a cockerel. Australorp or black sex link mix. You want him? Waiting on first crow.

The broody Australorp mix hatchling from last year is a big chicken. The Leghorns are sleek looking standing next to her. She is giving a large brown egg very regularly. 8 days straight then skip one.

The teenagers are:
3 reds - light, medium and dark.
5 black. Some with red speckling on the chest and neck. Interesting looking pullets.
4 Black and White (was 5, but one vanished) - Dominique mix.

Was hoping for more Australorp mixes but Chicken Rancher got some black sex links as layers. I've got chickens. That is all I know.

Nice mixes!!

As opposed to what? The mild, vinegary red stuff that needs more peppers, onions & garlic?

:lau

It's just like eating a chili hot dog...you have to put mustard on it.

I don’t particularly like chili dogs either haha

You eat those!?

:lau x2 lol

I haven't eaten one in more than ten years.

@Tesumph see? Says no beans. Must be wrong?

Also I just noticed that apparently even the author thinks it’s good LOL

If a "chili" has beans, it is not chili. It is bean and meat casserole or something.

What do you eat with your chili?
Cornbread
Saltines
Fritos
Rice

Chik-fil-a is a chicken restaurant that gives out real honey in little packets. Popeyes went cheap and has "honey blend". Corn syrup + a drop of honey. Tastes different on their hot buttered biscuits. I was using Popeyes' honey until they went cheap on me. Put the packets in a ziplock in a separate compartment.

Don't carry a honey bottle. It will eventually leak. The backpack is washable. The computer, not so much. Books - don't get me started on honey covered books.

Cornbread or rice. Also, who doesn't add beans to chili? Weirdo.
