I should get some of that! There’s this other brand here we like but I forget the name of it now haha but maybe if I had some good popcorn or something to snack on I wouldn’t want carp lol
Ok... I have been so good. I've been. But I can't take it anymore. You broke me down. You aren't eating fish. Carp is a fish. CRAP is not. Well.. I guess it could be... but that's not the point. I'm sry. Don't hate me.

Hurry up and go start the Forks over Knives show.I can’t watch stuff and do other stuff at the same time. I have to pay full attention haha musics fine and I can but shows I like to see what’s happening/not miss stuff haha
But I might at least clean. Idk.
I think I will drink some water and make the nachos and start over.
And then tomorrow I’m going to force myself to move and eat healthy.
And of course I probably will do some cleaning tonight too. There’s very little to do so I think I can handle it.
But I’m just completely not with it right now haha
I am done with the 100+ days too.I've been feeling a little rough the past couple of days and today the heat today has really gotten to me. I think they said a high of 98 or 99. It's supposed to be similar tomorrow. I know I am in the south but come on already! It's almost the middle of Sept.I am sooooo ready for some cooler temperatures. Even if it's only in the mornings and evenings and is still hot during the afternoon. I just need some relief.
And here's a random rant. The stores, feels like every single frickin' one of them, has gotten in those cinnamon scented brooms. I HATE those things. I am allergic to them and they are always right at the front door to greet you as you walk in.When I worked at a retail store a few yrs ago, we'd get them in and I had to get a coworker to get them off of the rolltainers that they, and all of the other products, are shipped on. I wouldn't even touch them. Something about the oils that are used in them. It would cause me to get an allergic reaction to them and send me in to an allergy cold/upper respiratory infection every single time. I know people love smelly good stuff but dayum some of the stuff is ridiculous! Is probably why I've been feeling icky the past couple of days. Is from where I had been out shopping. I should probably wear a mask but, idk, vanity I guess. I'd feel stupid. And if I have to feel stupid, I guess I'd rather have it be from getting sick from it instead. Doesn't make sense but it is what it is. LOL! Makes me not stay in a store as long and spend more money, that's for sure.
And I know my poor chickens want some relief from the heat as well. Their egg laying is all kinds of jacked up because of it. And over the past 2 days, I went to clean the big coop and was welcomed by a crap ton of black feathers everywhere. I mean, it looks like a chicken exploded! They are about 15-16 months old now so I am thinking we are starting to molt. Especially after the boys just got done going through one. I guess theirs would be considered a soft molt? Mainly just their tails. Poor Elvis' tail was so wilted, stubby and short looking. But now the feathers have grown back in nice and tall and it looks so much better. It's just crazy that he and Bowie went through one kind of early like they did.
Now to end on a nice note. My daughter called me up yesterday and told me that her work was doing a potluck type of party. She found a recipe that she wanted to try and asked me if she could come over and us do a trial run to make sure they turn out ok. So she did. It was supposed to be a pumpkin blondie. And her recipe used almond flour and flaxseeds instead of flour. I've never tried cooking with almond flour before. I liked the nuttiness of them but they sure didn't turn out like the picture. We also used a duck egg instead of chicken egg. So that probably affected the batter as well. It's a learning experience and definitely a good thing that she tried making them ahead of time. They were edible but her actual batch that she will make tonight, she'll have a couple adjustments to make. I don't get to see her as much as I'd like to so when I do, I enjoy spending time with her.![]()
