➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

:th I can’t take pictures of half my notebook.
These are the charts I have to memorize. I think it’ll be about half of the test.

Hate having to memorize charts!

There are many similarities in the digestion processes of pigs and cows (and other ruminants).
What goes in is processed and comes out.
Pigs eat more meat by-products than cows.
Knowing the differences in each part of the process and identifying which are more attributed/categorized to the bovine might help.
The cow has four stomachs which creates the biggest difference in the process.

I feel like a lot of the sciences are mostly all math anyway especially in the more advanced levels. I always sucked at math.
I need to go over math, it's something that I've been neglecting. I wonder if I could even do reasonably well at science, I guess I could just be cognitively crippled when it comes to math.

This is all excellent information and I agree learning the differences might be easier.

like i knowl lol.
My daughter showed me something a while back and i was like oh nice math work. She then proceeded to tell me it was biochemistry lol
Looks like an introductory level class. Lots of vocabulary. Lots of inorganic. Inorganic naming is easier than organic, so they teach you the easy stuff first.

Just keep in mind, this is the easy stuff. The hard stuff comes later.

How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.

 :th this is easy!?

 what even is this!? I’m so confused right now :lau
That’s chem 1. :gig
*geaux Tigers

I'd like to say it gets easier. It doesn't. Each semester gets a little bit more challenging and new stuff to remember. Remember the goal. You will rise to the challenge. Quittin' is too easy.

Then you get new challenges. A good study ethic builds into a good work ethic builds into an easy job. One step, one class, one challenge at a time. Geaux Tes!

Are you listening @littleprairieheartsfarm ? How are your classes?
Geauxt out of here with that crap!
Kidding. Thanks dad.

It gets easier in the sense that it’s more satisfying the deeper in you get. I certainly find it easier to push myself in veterinary parasitology vs. a waste of a time sink like theater history or whatever.
But no, the classes definitely do not get easier. Not to mention the pressure of job/volunteer hours, student organizations, grad school prep, etc., is a whole ‘nother animal.

Four chambers of the stomach.. only one “true stomach,” the abomasum.
Sorry, can’t help myself.

I gave up on the charts. I’m going through each nutrient systematically and then maybe the charts will come naturally.
