➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I've never had that problem but if it were to happen it would be like

Ok o want it
Never mind
Ok I want it
Never mind
I want it
NOPE

This is how i felt. Still i went along with it for four more phone calls. Its been really nuts.

As a seller, You give them as many chances as they want. You let them know that it is first come, first served. If they eventually show up, you sell it to them. If they don't show up, you don't worry about it. The number one rule is to not get your hopes up and you won't be disappointed when they don't show up.

I just went through a deal where the person kept saying they wanted the birds and then would go silent for a week before again saying they wanted the birds.

I was very pleasantly surprised when the husband showed up with cash in hand and finally completed the sale.

I was very kind and respectful the whole way through, glad to impart every bit of knowledge that pertained. Digging way back in my cloud photos for their exact dates. So it ended up at like 50 texts and 3 half hour phone calls. A big part of me really wanted the rooster to have a good home. Now i feel like giving it up. Ive already kept him too long.

I discouraged the mexicans and vietnamese who wanted him for their dinner table at the swap. Mostly cuz i know he might have about an ounce of meat on his bones. I also tried to sell him with his cochin pullet as a would be breeding pair. Finally i allowed someone to pay 25$ for the matching pullet alone as they didnt want the roo.

So i guess i set myself up for disappointment but i try to connect with each of my customers. I let them know they can ask me anything and if idk then ill come here and find out the best i can.

Thanks for the responses you guys! I appreciate the support!
