➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Please have yourself tested for Lyme disease AND Lyme associated diseases. Your symptoms sound like my daughters!

Thanks! I’ll have to do that!!

Especially cause when I just looked up the symptoms I’ve developed a lot of those this year

I never had the bullseye though.

But we have tons of deer ticks around.

Don’t put this in her head.
Eh. Too late.

“for a young person”
whatever man. I feel like that all the time, doesn’t stop me.

Why? It’s a very real possibility and we live in a very wooded area with tons of deer and Lyme carrying deer ticks.

I should at least get tested. Never have been. If it’s negative, it’s negative.

And there’s no need for the eye roll. Medically speaking, which is strictly what he meant, I am young. Definitely not as common in my age as say like 50 or 60 year olds or whatever. Pretty sure that’s all he meant.

And I don’t let it stop me. Never said I did. I still do stuff and it’s not all the time.

Normally, I feel 100% fine and normal. It’s only when I do too much physical stuff, whether that’s walking, or shoveling shavings, or weeding, or too much bending/twisting, or standing up too fast, and then I’ll get shaky and lightheaded, in which case I get something to eat and/or drink and go back to working. I don’t just quit. But sometimes I do need to sit for a second.

I think for me it’s probably just cause I’m completely out of shape but sometimes I think it could be blood sugar cause I usually feel much better when I drink some juice or something. But not always.

Or maybe simple dehydration.

Maybe you need some cardio too, girl

:lau

I know I definitely do. I’m so out of shape.

I think that’s probably most or all of my problem.

I’m gonna try getting in shape and see if it helps haha

Yay!!

I have asthma and heart problems. What’s your excuse?

No one was giving one??

Although I actually technically have asthma but I essentially “outgrew” it for a while (not really outgrew, still had it, but would only get it bad when I got sick, my brothers the same), but I think it’s come back recently. Wonder if that could cause those other issues... probably not. Probably just cause I was out of shape and overweight for a while. Still a little overweight but I’ve lost a lot this year.

I think if I just start exercising and eating right and maybe actually taking my asthma medicine I will feel fine in no time. Then if not maybe I’ll get tested. Though I do have the joint and nerve stuff too which I didn’t know could be related...

But I feel fine the majority of the time so I really think it’s just from my bad habits rather than anything serious but

But it is a little bit weird how any exertion results in feeling like shit. Don’t think that’s quite normal. But I think it can be fixed.

But anyways, all that said, I actually have been making progress on all that stuff and have been eating much better lately and exercising more so that’s good at least. I’ve been cooking a lot lately and have been walking some. But I don’t think walking alone is enough to help. I think I need to start running up flights of stairs or something.

Go get tested then. Just don’t talk about how you should maybe probably get around to calling a doctor to hopefully get tested for the next 2 months. ;)

tongue in cheek.
My heart problems are much worse than my asthma.
I never said you let it stop you. I was replying to the subtle jab at “young people.”

Ahh I see. That. Yeaaaahhhh... I definitely won’t do that. Actually, I think I’m just gonna try to get in shape first and then if it doesn’t improve, then call.

And try to lose the last 10-15 pounds I have to go :lau

And ahh okay. Sorry, hard to tell on here sometimes ha that makes sense though but for once I actually didn’t think sdm was being rude or making a jab at all. I think he was genuinely concerned/saying I shouldn’t be so young and having that haha

I actually initially thought you were saying I wasn’t young or something.

Think everything got all discombobulated this time hah

Don’t think anyone meant anything by anything.

And sorry about the heart problems. :hugs

I’m lucky I’ve never really had any medical problems except the asthma and even that was really never an issue.

Although lately it’s kind of been. Or at least back. Doesn’t effect me but my chest has been like consistently tight for a while

I don’t like taking the medicine cause it just makes me feel like shit (shaky, weak, etc., the exact problems I hate) and if I take it too late I am unable to sleep. But I guess I could just take one puff instead of two.

It doesn’t really bother me though. I’m used to it.

Try taking a puff in the morning before you do anything. That’s what I should be doing.. but I forget.
I have asthma attacks late at night and then I’m out of commission for the next day.
I agree, albuterol makes you feel like a piece of poop. Sometimes I’d rather deal with the tight chest lol.
It’s alright! Everyone has those kind of days! I’m sorry about your date night :hugs hopefully you can reschedule it sometime soon? :fl :hugs
Not with our schedules. :(

Thanks! I’ll try that!! Maybe we can remind each other to take it :lau

Aw that sounds awful!! :hugs

I’m lucky I never really get attacks (though I have a couple times) but my chest will sometimes just be like consistently tight all day or at least for hours. I can still do stuff but it’s just annoying. And it’s way worse when I’m sick and also simultaneously have a stuffy nose/sinuses and the chest tightness and then I can’t breathe.

But yes! Exactly!! That’s my exact thinking too!! I have albuterol too and I’m usually like honestly this will just make me feel worse so it’s not really worth it, my chest isn’t bothering me that much. :lau

And awww I’m sorry!! That really sucks!! :hit :hugs

I hope you can eventually. :fl

And you guys are all amazing! :bow

I need to start doing more and/or getting in shape cause I stand/run around even for a few hours straight or sometimes less and I get exhausted and sore legs/feet.

But I know that’s nothing and ridiculous compared to what you guys do daily but I’m not used to it. Need to start getting used to it though and/or walking more.
Sometimes I get going up the stairs too

Not totally but just breathing pretty heavy. Which I also do a lot of the time anyway.

ETA: it’s not just the feeling tired or whatever, either, I literally will get like weak/light headed/very odd feeling too most of the time.

How about after one of your walks with a dog?
Do you take potassium?
When was your last physical?
