How long do these take to make?

About an hour and a bit. No pattern but great photos from @Kiki. Had to guess at cutting the wire lengths. And sorting for the right bead sizes took some time too. Then rummaging thru my craft drawer for the glass beads. Estimate the next one would take maybe 30 minutes now.

If they make enough to live comfortably then more power to them, but the mass majority are swimming in debt.

Human doctors usually specialize in one area of human health with their only patient being human whether a baby or a senior.
Vets on the other hand must learn the skeletal structure and organ location as well as those functions and criteria for many types of animals. Specializing in large animals, pets, birds, exotics still requires knowledge of each type of animal in those categories. That means long hours and specific equipment for those services....that can become expensive in a heartbeat!

It took her probably 8 minutes.

You know, I've never thought of it that way. This offers a whole different perspective that I'd not considered. Thank you for pointing this out. One of those rare instances where a different line of thinking changed my view on the matter in an instant!

I think the real variable is us, the pet owners. We decide when our pets need vet care, and we all have different thresholds. I just wish people would take that into consideration before picking out a pet.

I agree completely. I could have an immediate answer for Triumph’s pain with a $3500 MRI. I don’t have that money, and the vet didn’t judge me for not being able to spend that. And I don’t judge them for not giving me answers for free.

I agree completely. I could have an immediate answer for Triumph’s pain with a $3500 MRI. I don’t have that money, and the vet didn’t judge me for not being able to spend that. And I don’t judge them for not giving me answers for free.

Hubby is still suffering with his cold. It has moved down into his chest. He has been coughing like crazy. Pulled out the Robitussin..not much improvement. Have him on Daquil/Nyquil and Tessalon Perles for his cough. Mentholatum and socks on his feet.
And made him a homemade Angel food cake and some potato/onion soup for lunch. Will make egg custards after the OSU game.

Sorry for your hubby. I am also sick as a dog right now, but mine only just started. My throat is red raw and swollen, voice is gone, and my head feels like it’s going to pop.
I always hate the beginning of a cold. I’d rather be coughing for months than feel like this.

I wish I could make it! Don’t know if we have elderberries here. Supposedly we do but I’ve never really looked. Might have to sometime. I usually just buy it from the store but I’m sure fresh is way better and stronger!

Yeah, I’m not a huge fan of blackberry. Like other berries though just not blackberry haha I’ll eat it but not my fave. But I bet I’d like elderberry better.
