I think people put Amish into this one category, but not all are like that. These ones are in Maine. They're the kindest people ever and their horses are treated like gold. My brother helps them a lot with stuff. He's even gone out to cut ice blocks on the lake with them. I respect this family a lot. They're really funny, I hear stories all the time.

I know not all of them are, sure some are great people, like your brother’s neighbors, but just heard of a lot that are.

Like all the Amish puppy mills or leaving horses tied in the sun with no water or whatever.

But maybe those people aren’t real Amish people. I’m sure most are good people and are probably appalled at the ones that do that sort of thing. It’s just you hear about the negative more than the positive. In most things these days, even the news. People seem to care more about negative/shocking stuff sadly.

These ones sound amazing.

Tbh I didn’t even realize there were Amish people here.

I didn’t mean to assume. I think I need to meet more Amish people hah

Very true!! People seem to do that with a lot of groups too. Idk why but people seem to be obsessed with labeling everything too

Hubby gave me his cold/bronchitis...started with the sneezing and stuffy nose and headache two days ago. Started taking Elderberry syrup, defense Hall's and moved on to Mucinex this morning.
Gonna make a hot toddy after taking care of all the animals.
