➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Hmmm maybe I'll try it. What cat food do you use?
I just buy 50lb bags of whatever is cheapest. The buckeye breeder that I talk to often told me that's what she gives hers. And whole corn. My birds always eat it first.
I feed my birds 1/4-1/2 part dry cat food, 1 part whole corn, 1 part BOSS, 2 parts rolled oats & barley, 1 part alfalfa pellets and 8 parts layer feed. They do really well on this. Oddly enough, the alfalfa is what gets eaten last. Their meat is very mild in flavour with this feed, although that could also be because of the breed. This year was my first cull and all that I did were buckeye/ chantecler crosses.

I'm feeding mine chicken feed, corn, and mixed seeds. I do 1 cup to every 3 of layer feed. I pre mix it in containers and we scoop out enough to fill my layer flock and meat flock.

My meat flock is only 6 weeks old. I'm thinking I'll butcher them at 16 weeks but I'm not sure.
