She gave him the dirtiest luck yesterday when he started dancing around her. I busted out laughing and told him that he needs to come up with something better.

He was the first chicken to walk up to me this morning and I absolutely love him!

I had leftover noodles from last night that are made from chickpeas so I figured I would give them some of it and he jumped right on the bowl and started pigging out hes definitely a member of our flock now.

OMG that’s hysterical!! Sure she’ll come around LOL sounds like he’s fitting in well!!

Me too, that's why I haven't done it yet.

I haven't seen what size eggs my Polish will lay, but if she lays smaller eggs I won't mind. I might try to hatch some sebright crosses. Wonder what a Cochin sebright cross would look like or Delaware.

I don't think I will hatch anymore red sex link cross eggs because I don't like the way they look. They seem like they'd be good for meat though. I'll find out in March when I butcher them.

I wanted to use plexiglass for the incubator heat barriers, as 6mm has a similar R-value to 1/2" pine board without the mould risk, but it would cost quite a lot to get it in the size I want. My eye then fell on plastic cutting boards.... which are significantly cheaper. I'll need to cut them a bit, but I think they're going to work. Those poor chicks.

The chicken on there is the reason why he got his name HeiHei. He acts just like that chicken, he screams just like it and it makes me laugh so hard.

The guy told us that he was very quiet at his house, he comes here and he's the mouthiest one.

This was supposed to be American Chop Suey but I heated it up way too much so now it’s basically soup/chili but that’s okay. Still delicious and it’s really cold and wet out so it’s very warming/good lol I added some Ritz crackers to it
