Yeah I wasn't happy.
They clearly say it takes 1-5 days for processing the order but 5+ days was too long for me.

Yeah that’s over a week.... that’s weird. But they’re probably super busy this time of year but they should have at least sent you an email or something to say that it was going to take a little bit longer. But maybe they didn’t think it would.

Yeah that is too long especially right before christmas. I didn't have issues with shipping, but I used only Walmart and Amazon. Amazon won't use certain shippers for delivery to our house because we've had so many issues in the past.

Yeah you could’ve probably bought it somewhere else by now it took so long lol

But the holidays are probably exactly why they’re delayed.

But yeah I always use Amazon and they’re usually really fast lol

I’m sure with it being the holidays and stuff they’re probably just very busy and backed up haha although it sounds like it didn’t even ship yet? Weird. Glad it’s (hopefully) coming soon though.

We almost didn’t get our TV last week, they kept saying they tried to deliver it and we weren’t home but we were home!!! At least the second time. First time we weren’t.

But sometimes they do that on purpose cause they have so many to deliver and to get out and knock wastes time they could be using to deliver other ones. Plus I think they might get paid more if you’re not there. Idk.

But my mom called Amazon and they did end up delivering it that night. I don’t know if it’s because she called or just because of coincidence lol

It was UPS and they’re usually pretty good but she claims someone had pulled right up to the top of our driveway then left before she got out there right about the time they attempted the delivery the day before. There was someone out there for sure but I’m thinking it was just kids cause later another car pulled in too and there’s no way a TV would have fit in that one lol just a regular car. Probably going to the neighbor kids house. Although it’s weird the first one pulled so far up the driveway.... like legitimately right by the house... so maybe it was them. Idk.

But it got delivered so all good lol

UPS doesn't get paid more for saying that you weren't home... They do get all their work done when they say that they tried to deliver and didn't. Sometimes they will mark it as delivered and it isn't delivered just so they don't get in trouble for not completing their route. I have had Amazon tell me this personally when I was having issues with a driver marking that a package was delivered but it never was.

I have had Amazon tell me this personally when I was having issues with a driver marking that a package was delivered but it never was.

Oh wow that’s so ridiculous!! Seems a tad lazy and incompetent.... but then again at the same time I do somewhat feel for them because I’ve heard, at least with UPS, that they have like every second micromanaged/tracked and it’s like impossible to deliver everything/go by their schedule and they’re questioning even those few seconds you use to go knock or whatever so I do feel bad for the drivers but the packages need to be delivered.... I’m afraid it’s much more about the company’s and making money and being super fast and efficient than it is about the customers but sadly, the managers or CEOs or whoever never consider the cost of pursuing this ultra efficiency.... that sometimes packages won’t get delivered cause it takes too long or whatever. It’s absurd.

I just figured though that they would get paid when they have to go try again thus more cause they gotta go back out.
