Commandeered most of the laundry room for the new brooder

Going to put the heat plate and the chicks in tomorrow morning.

For now, I am going to go pass out because I have to get up at like 6 and I also fully cleaned out the big girl’s coop today as well as carried a ton of super heavy shit and also worked (walked/played with the dogs) and ran some errands today and just generally did a lot and am super duper exhausted and sore and in pain cause I did too much lifting and cause I kept cutting my feet and hands on the damn hardware cloth. It’s been a long day.

they needed a bigger area before we left and it was either this or the porch room lol my mom actually suggested it because it’s tile and would be a lot less wire because there’s only a few openings. Mostly wall which made it easier. Put a blanket down underneath it all too.

I guess I’ll get a vacuum or something and vacuum it up eventually though. Cause we’re probably gonna need the laundry room back at some point.

I procrastinated and needed something last minute. She actually originally said to just leave them in the current thing and that it was fine for a few days but I insisted it was way too small haha

Glad your brother will be checking in on them...advise him to do a head count in case one flies over the wire wall. Nothing smells as bad as a hidden dead body.

Do you have a snow shovel? You might plug up a shop vac with that size shaving.

That's going to be one dusty closet. You're going to need a mask to go in there!

It’s not a closet lol it’s pretty big but it is narrow. I’ll have to get an air purifier or something for in there.
