➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

That’s awesome!!

And aw hopefully he’s there next time haha

And aww I’m sure he’s still just settling in!! And he must if he’s pooping haha

I might keep one but I’m not sure yet. But I do know that I’ll probably keep all the chicks until they’re all old enough to sex them all for sure and tell which one is the nicest and then I’ll probably post all the boys on Craigslist and keep all the girls and/or maybe the nicest boy. I know people might eat them on Craigslist, which is fine by me, but hopefully somebody will want a flock rooster or two. :fl

If not, we have the room to separate them and keep them for as long as necessary.

And aw you should get another!

I get attached way too fast. Even though my chicks aren’t named and are still a tad scared of me, I’m in love with them already so no way I could do meat birds. Especially since I’ve heard Cornish X are extremely friendly. :hit

I thought maybe if they all looked alike it’d be easier but not if they’re super friendly. :hit

And awww that sounds adorable!!!

And yeah, I am usually up after midnight anyway, but for some reason for New Years I don’t really care anymore :lau

Probably cause we never do anything so it’s the same every year and most of the TV stuff just annoys me now :lau
Umm, my Cornish cross were NOT friendly, they get hangry. They pig out on all the feed and then bite you when you go to refill them. I have a scar on my hand from the Cornish cross rooster I did.

Ferrets are so stinkin cute lol

Yeah, that and the smell is why I haven’t gotten any haha too much work for me but they seem adorable. Maybe one day. :lau

And :lau OMG!!

What are they eating? Maybe that’s part of it? I know it can be with dogs lol

:lau I need more furry animals. I have too many feathered and finned ones. :lau

Love them but I need another dog.

And what is a flower mantis?
This...

They're so cute! I honestly am not sure I could do meat rabbits... I'd keep them all. I had a rabbit in high school named Oreo. I bought it real young and it lived until it was 10. I left her with my ex and he kept her until her last days.
That's why a lot of folks do the new Zealand whites, they all look alike and the red eyes creep most folks out, so they don't have the cuteness factor so much. I named my breeders, but the bunnies don't get names, makes it easier to do the deed.

What's your plan for all those boys?

Oh my gosh! I could just eat them up!

Almost makes me want to get rabbits again... Ah, nope, the feeling passed. :gig
They are super soft right now too :)

I've watched videos with them and they were mean little things. I'm not into Cornish at all not after seeing the chicken trucks here that have them.

I think crickets are smelly. That's why I like the roaches, everyone says they have no smell at all.

I dislike mealworms too, but that's all they had. Groot wasn't interested in them so I told him we would try again tomorrow. I ordered him 3 different sized roaches and whatever he doesn't eat Gamora (Bob) will.
Crickets smell like farts.
For what it's worth, none of mine have ever been particularly interested in mealworms anyway. You might have better luck with small crickets?

Nah, they just eat a lot and therefore poop a lot. They're still just babies and have a lot of growing to do. Little piggies.
On the bright side, they're both already totally litter box trained. Smart babies!

Oh thank goodness!!! This makes me feel so much better because I think @BantyChooks had said that hers were super friendly and sat in her lap and stuff so it made me nervous to get them because I know I would get attached if they were lap chickens haha

I don’t like the health problems though and I know it can be minimized or eliminated by different management techniques but I still think if I did them I’d go with the rangers.

Holy mackerel that thing is gorgeous. :th

Are reptiles a huge thing in the UK? Every YouTuber I watch that has reptiles are from the UK.

:lau maybe?

The red eyes do somewhat creep me out but they’re still fuzz balls and adorablely cute and I still couldn’t I don’t think :lau

A guy had a Savannah monitor and it was like a puppy. My husband wants one but we need to build an indoor outdoor enclosure for it.
