It's our anniversary today.
Made chocolate chip cinnamon waffles for lunch while we watch Aliens. Going out to a fancy steakhouse tonight and that's about it.
So glad I married someone as boring as I am.

I thought you were going home

We did. Got home Monday night but my mom booked a hotel in Boston tonight and tomorrow for some reason and I didn’t want to waste it so we went lol she did it kinda last minute, only booked it yesterday and told me about it after LOL but I am glad I went.

She got the room for really cheap or else I don't think she would have done it lol

I think she wanted to go somewhere for New Year's and we didn't so she got this lol plus she was only in Florida for a few days whereas we were there a lot longer so I think she wanted her own vacation. Idk. Who knows her logic LOL I think it's kinda stupid but she booked it and better than staying home haha

But you would be shocked if you knew all the vacations she books then never tells anyone about till last minute if at all and lets go to waste.

She usually gets them on eBay or elsewhere for super cheap, I will say that is the one thing she is great at is finding travel deals, but still. Not cheap if you never use it

Granted she also often uses points cause she has tons but still.

That's part of why she got this weekend. To get lots of points.

She loves looking at vacations though although she's been better lately and hasn't bought any in a while I don't think. Well I guess until this.

Oh and as for what we're gonna do.... idk. But the hotel is connected to a big mall. And near a park. We actually walked through it on the way here and it was so pretty with all the lights on the trees. We might go walk around the city tomorrow too. I'm sure we will find something fun to do. LOL

I am watching the AKC National Championship on Animal Planet. I am like... oooh I like this breed! Oooh I like that breed! Oh what a beautiful dog! Such a pretty coat! I’m like that with just about every dog.

BIL told us that a Rhodesian Ridgeback took high honors.

I don't get it because I've never seen one minute of that show.

I don't have that channel but I'm downloading the animal planet app right now to see if I can watch it on there.
I doubt it but I'm going to try.

I just remembered...Nana is probably passed out tired from knocking out walls in her house.

Passed out at 11:30pm after taking the dogs out for their final potty break for 2019. Noticed the quiet of the evening with no ducks. Then heard the coyotes yipping.

Oh, I did finish sorting breeders for the Columbian Wyandotte pens. I have spent 10 years improving my Heritage line to meet the Standard of Perfection. They are dual purpose (meat and eggs). Just a few photos...

Two reserved cockerels...one is 7 months old and the one in back is 8 months old.


Two nice pullets that are just beginning to lay eggs.

It was windy the day I took these photos. The double blue rings on his legs means he has good type and good color in his wings. The wing feathers are black with just a knife edge of white. His undercoat (down) has the required stale blue color.


Finally this is Pen 5...the second hen even though has little cape color has great structure and throws really nicely colored chicks from this cock.
