We get sirens in the country too Not all day every day, but some days.

true!! We get them too but not this many or this frequently lol more went off just a few minutes ago.

My puggle just woke me up I'm not sure why but now I'm irritated I'll have to read another 3 hours before I pass out again. I guess that's why I always finish books pretty fast.

I'm hoping that guy will get the eggs by sunday. I'm going to start up the incubator tomorrow to get it all ready for the eggs. I grabbed 5 eggs from my coop yesterday. There was a random one on the floor and no clue who laid it. Still waiting for Blue Footed Booby to lay an egg!

So you won’t be able to fall back asleep? I find sometimes I wake up and then start using my phone and then I really can’t go back to sleep whereas if I didn’t I probably could have haha

I usually read to put me back to sleep. I had crazy chest pains tonight so I went to lay down early and passed out.

I have so many packages coming tomorrow. My roaches can have an Amazon warehouse too

I have to figure out how I'm going to do it. I have about 20 packages coming. I think my bed set comes tomorrow

They put a hospital a mile away from me a few years ago. They said they would not be going down my road.

The first year few did, but the main road has traffic jams at the four way stop, so now they go down my road. at least once an hour on a good day. Bad weather every ten minutes.
Took the dog a couple of years to quit barking at the ambulances. The turkeys gobble at certain sirens.

I'm reminded of the people who buy cheap houses and then complain about the jet noise all day from the airport and then want the airport relocated. News flash here, the airport is worth more than your house.

Our first rental trailer house was right by the train crossing, on a busy road, across the street from the fire house. I learned a lot at that location. Like when working nights and attempting to sleep all day, the firemen test all the sirens every Friday at noon. Trains blow their whistle even though the ding-ding arms are down. Also rough having babies. We moved after a year and deciding we had enough. Amazing what you can sleep through AFTER you get accustomed to it.

When I was a kid it was a gravel road. In the 1960's an interstate I 80, went in through our property. That took a long time to get used to. I still have to have white noise to drown out the highway I also worked nights ... still have the fan even though I am retired and getting up before dawn
