Wilco, our local feed store, uses Ideal, and they've been really happy with them. I've also never had an "oops" rooster in all my years purchasing sexed pullets from Wilco. I will say that 2 of my 5 hens lack both beards and muffs, but they are still wonderful, personality wise. I will ask to pick my own chicks this time to make sure I get the bearded girls.

I got an oops from Ideal. Wasn’t bothered by it though, based on the number of chicks I ordered the probability was in favor of my getting at least one boy. All the chicks were nice and healthy though.

Do they crow a lot? Are their crows loud?

How are they with their hens? Assume maybe they’d be better at protecting with their game nature?

Now you have me debating whether I should even keep any of my standard cockerels or just sell them all and buy some OEGBs

Or maybe I should get a standard game?

What is the goal? What are you looking for in a cockerel? Is there some concern you have about your current ones?
