➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I use a small soft brush to gently collect the pollen from the stamens. Once the brush is pollen loaded it can then be used to gently touch the stigma causing fertilization or you could just have bugs crawling around on the blossoms.

If you brought your plants in from outside, be sure to carefully and thoroughly inspect them for aphids.

Thanks!! Very helpful!! Do you think I should pollinate them or just let them grow over winter? One of them is already huge and really doesn’t need to grow more and the other is doing well but much smaller so maybe I’ll do both? Let the small one grow and try to pollinate the other?

And I’ll check for bugs. They were potted already and on the deck, didn’t save the in ground ones, but could maybe still be bugs. Have actually noticed some holes in leaves oddly?
