I'm not ready to try and figure out how to weave yarn but I will pick up some of these looms.

I think the stuff he's currently using is this nylon crap.

The cotton is totally different! Holds its shape 100%.

If I'm not mistaken I bought two bags one of the nylon ones and one cotton bag.

for some reason he started with the nylon ones because he likes how those feel or whatever.

I'm going to convince him to give the cotton ones a try today because he was really mad how janky last night's pot holder turned out.

Not weird at all. I think that I would like to try making them myself. I am always needing potholders or something to put a hot pot on the table or counter

Here is a random musing. Do you have a favorite coffee mug or cup? I have too many coffee mugs. I find myself collecting them. I don’t know why. I like certain styles or sizes or funny sayings. And if my hubby goes out of town on business, he brings me back a coffee mug from wherever he was at. If we’ve gone on vacation, it’s easy to pick up a mug in remembrance. These are 2 of my favorite coffee mugs and they have absolutely NOTHING to do with vacationing or business trips. LOL!!!

I do sell alot of them, i eat alot too. Just fyi i did not have any luck with craigslist this year, most of my sales have come from swaps where ive built myself a small reputation.

It's been 30 plus years since I have ridden a horse.


Our oldest daughter is just now 50. 8 grandchildren. The oldest just got married at 22.





Won't start incubator until mid February.
Hatched close to 400 last year. Kept 70.

Yes! I collect mugs! I always get one when we go on vacation. I have some from Alaska from when I was born.
I'll have to get a pic of my favourites later. I just got a new set for Christmas that I'm obsessed with.

I used to collect bells from when we traveled but now it's just magnets.

Is he temporarily reattaching the potholder to the loom while he crochets the edges, it helps it keep the right shape with the way it gets super loose....?

I love coffee cups. I like commemorative mugs as well.

I used to collect bells as well. That came about from my grandmother who collected them. When she passed away I got most of her collection. I have this wooden bell. I don't know how old it is but I think it is quite old. Probably not valuable or anything. Just old in a neat way. I'll see if I can get a pic of it.

You never know! Some of the weirdest, ugliest stuff that you would never think would ever be valuable can be really valuable! But then of course some stuff you think is worth a ton ends up being worth nothing. It is really weird what is and what isn’t. Ever watch Antiques Roadshow? I love that show.
