➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Yeah, it's weird! I'll see if I can find flavored ones today and take a pic. I've been on a grape kick. The black beauty ones are kind of crunchy not soft and mushy, I like them.
I haven't had grapes in probably 15 years. I don't remember them being crunchy or mushy though lol.
Are these sold in regular grocery stores or is this a fancy thing?

Hmm all this grape talk is really interesting. I had no idea there were so many kinds.... 10,000!?!?!?:th

And @Tesumph I think most of these varieties are relatively new, within the last 5-10 years or less, some only recently hit the market, and they’re constantly coming out with new varieties, so if you haven’t eaten grapes in longer than that, that’s probably why. I rarely eat grapes myself and had no idea there were so many. Had heard of cotton candy but that’s it. Never tried it though. Apparently it is not just red grapes and green grapes anymore. :th

Maybe everyone in here can help me with this question...

Can I use brown or black mulch in my chickens run? The run is 7000 sq ft I want to only put it around the coop and make a path... Even though I know the path will get spread out a bit because my chickens love kicking through stuff
Mulch? I get the free county shredded yard waste "mulch" that is brown. Ask them for the undyed material cause the chickens eat it. It may also have rot retardants that may have adverse reactions. Get the natural stuff.

I will dump a 50# Dog Food bag of this stuff out and the chickens will spread it ALL over. They love scratching through and eating something. The starting to compost bits are more interesting than the just shredded tree pieces. Stuff works great to absorb poop and smells. It rained and the ground is water logged at present. If left in a pile, the pill bugs accumulate. Bonus feed.

I vote for the undyed, untreated, natural wood bits.
