Hi everyone

We said goodbye to Baby on Monday. It was hard saying goodbye, but has honestly been ok since I left the vet's office. The other 2 cats don't even seem to notice that she's gone.

-43c here this morning with a real feel of -49c. I have to go to work today! I think we should close the store, but I'm sure that we'll get people wanting heaters, propane & plumbing parts for burst pipes etc.

Luckily I fed the birds extra yesterday so I don't have to spend an hour @ the coops today.

I feed late the night before when coooooold mornings are anticipated, I hate getting out early in the cold.

Ok... so I told you guys how frigid it is today right? I get to work this morning and my boss wants me to go outside and shovel sidewalks that should have been shoveled a week ago. How fing insane is that?! I just told him that I was exercising the right to refuse work.
What he wanted me to do was extremely dangerous. At these temps even your eyeballs can get frostbite in less than 5 mins.
